For better Internet advertising

Guy who sends me stuff sends me this:
HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened on November 4, 1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are 150 stores all over the Netherlands .
Take a look at HEMA's product page - just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.
DON'T click on any of the items in the picture, just wait.
This company has a sense of humour and a great computer programmer, who has too much time on his hands.

What a great, funny way to advertise. Thanks for the link. You always find the best stuff to share.

How very clever! A website Rube Goldberg would be proud of.

What tickled me most, though, was their little portable radio and the name below - just the same as in the good ol' U.S.A.

The "ghettoblaster"!

Which just now got me to thinking: Do they even KNOW what a getto is in the Netherlands?

TF: A function of a lot of time to putter around + a high-speed connection.
Shug: The poor Dutch have a big population of Somali Muslims, an indigestible mess. The Somalis are forever attacking someone who has give offense in some way.
