Vuvuzela chorale

Everyone's complaint about the World Cup [besides the officiating] has been the incessant drone of the vuvuzelas played by the locals during a match. Some whimsical German classical musicians have undertaken to demonstrate the versatility of the vuvuzela by playing a Brahms chorale and the old chestnut 'Bolero.' Watch and grin. These boys are working hard.

Gee--who would have thought these things could be this annoying in a classical music setting?

Funny stuff, but I've heard enough!

Leave it to the Germans (my ancestary) to take something a bit annoying and try to make it into something classically annoying.

I USED to love Bolero (remember 10 with Bo Derrick and Dudley Moore?) but now I will forever have the image of overdressed men on stage with bad camera angles.
