It is doing as threatened

Just stepped outside with the [unwilling] pups at about 10:45, and there were little white flakes falling amongst the icy rain we've had all morning. Bad thing, that, and a filthy day overall – rain, snow, wind, cold. Where's my subtropical paradise?

Hey, Ken - Where'd your comment go? Brandy, soup, and naps – that's the order of the day.

& then the Sandcrabs managed to lose at the very end of the game.

Aw, Loon, cheer up. It will get better. Your subtropical paradise is still there, just hibernating for the time being. Before you know it, the weather will turn, the blooms will come out, and it will be balmy once more.

As for me, I'm enjoying the heck out of it. I LOVE this weather. It was a little precarious driving home the other morn, though, when it started rolling in (sooner than the forecasters had predicted) in the sleety/icy mess. But a joy to see snowflakes fall later. Not many, mind you, but I'll take what I can get. The felines sure didn't want to venture out. They stayed nice and snuggly, as did the dog.

The horse? Of course, of course, the horse just kept grazing and let the snow fall off his back. Ain't got a lick of sense, I tell ya. Got a nice stall with lots of hay....but would still rather be out in the open doing what HE wants to do.

We've got some characters around here, for sure.
